HARPER PUBS

Wandering North Norfolk’s winding lanes, the sea never far away, you’ll happen upon two of its loveliest locals – the kind of places you’ll wish were always just down the road...

So, while they are on your doorstep, we invite you to make the most of them. The Morston Anchor, something of a North Norfolk legend, is a quick hop away by car (or borrow a Harper bike) on the coast road at Morston, and is part village pub, part local chippy. Nautical nibbles, from signature cockle popcorn to crispy squid, are always on the menu, with the freshest, line-caught fish, chunky chips, and tangy homemade sauces.

Closer still is The Langham Blue Bell. Our very own local, it’s a labyrinth of nooks, crannies and cosy corners with an inviting beer garden to boot. Graze on too-good-not-to tidbits with a twist (quail egg scotch egg, anyone?), or if it’s the weekend, settle in for one of North Norfolk’s best roasts. Needless to say, The Harper’s little sisters serve a fine selection of craft ales, small-batch spirits and well-chosen wines.
