Christmas 2026 hotel packages: three days, entirely taken care of
Our headline festive stay is Christmas itself, done properly. Arrive on Christmas Eve to a room ready with a festive hamper, warm mince pies and a Harper Christmas cocktail, then let three days unfold without a single thing to cook, carve or clear away.
Christmas Eve brings a relaxed three-course dinner. Christmas Day moves from a proper breakfast to a leisurely three-course lunch in our restaurant at the heart of the hotel, with a generous evening buffet for when appetites quietly return. Boxing Day is brunch, beach walks and firesides, gathering again in the evening for small plates and canapes, before one final, unhurried breakfast on the 27th.

New Year’s Eve in North Norfolk
See out 2026 in style: champagne on arrival, cocktails and canapés before dinner, five pre-ordered courses from a kitchen showing off in the best possible way, then dancing, a midnight countdown and a champagne toast in The Den. Stay one night, or take a second and spend the first day of 2027 on the beach or in the pool before a relaxed dinner that evening. New Year packages start from £995 per room.

For office dos that don’t feel like office dos, family gatherings and the friends you only assemble once a year, The Den is our private party space, exposed brick, low light, festive menus from the kitchen and a bar that takes celebration seriously. The Thursford Christmas Spectacular — stay, dine, and make a night of it
No Christmas in Norfolk is complete without the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. Europe’s biggest Christmas show, returning for its 49th year from 10 November to 23 December 2026. Expect three hours of song, dance and full-tilt festive variety from a cast of 130, amid glowing mechanical organs and vintage carousels. It sells out for good reason.
The Harper is the natural place to make a night of it: a pre-theatre dinner in our restaurant timed to make the curtain comfortably, a short drive to the show, and no long journey home afterwards, just a nightcap, your bed, and breakfast before a beach walk the next morning. Matinee and evening performances run throughout the season, so an afternoon show followed by dinner works just as beautifully in reverse. Dogs welcome — don’t forget the whole family
Christmas isn’t Christmas with someone left at home. Dogs stay for £25 per night at The Harper hotel, complete with their own welcome pack, a proper dog bed, and a dog bath ready for the post-beach rinse-down. North Norfolk’s winter beaches were made for them.
