Are you looking for a romantic getaway for you and your partner in the English countryside? The UK has plenty of wonderful romantic spots across the country, with Norfolk among one of the many locations. Norfolk is home to some of the best beaches, grand estates, historic castles and homes and plenty more of wonderful attractions to explore on a romantic holiday.

If you are looking for a hotel to stay Holt accommodation and the hotels in the Langham Norfolk areas would be a good choice.

The Harper hotel is a great 5-star spa property with excellent facilities at a reasonable price, the ideal place to stay if you want to enjoy a luxurious experience.

As a couple some of the romantic spots to explore in Norfolk are:

Sail away:

Seal watching around Blakeney Point is popular with visitors with several groups of guided boat tours. To enjoy a more private affair you can charter a boat only for the two of you, with the skipper at the helm. Along the route, the skipper will share informative knowledge of the surroundings while en route to Blakeney Point. You could choose to get off and have the skipper return later to pick up the both of you. Another ideal spot to enjoy a lovely picnic in solitude and serene surroundings!

Lovers Lane:

Enjoy a leisurely stroll together through the countryside of the Broads through Lovers Lane and along the route will see thatched homes, Staithes, mills and a fantastic nature reserve. A wonderful romantic area to explore if you take a circular route around Ludham, there are riverside trails, tearooms and pubs and opportunity to walk through Lovers Lane, twice.

Explore Sandringham Estate:

While we cannot lay claim to having a granny owning a royal estate like Princes William and Harry, we can, however, make do with a tour of the estate grounds of Sandringham. There are plenty of romantic spots to spend some cuddle time together while enjoying the amazing natural beauty of the place. Once done head to the nearest pub or restaurant for a lovely intimate dinner for two!

Holkham Beach:

Probably one of the most romantic spots, it achieved worldwide prominence after Gwyneth Paltrow strolled down the golden sands for the closing sequence of the Hollywood movie Shakespeare in Love. This certainly helped to promote and amazing beauty of the place and raise its romantic cachet remarkably. The best time to visit the beach is during high tide when the area transforms into a stunning lagoon. Carry some rugs, with a picnic hamper and some bubbly and enjoy a romantic picnic together.

Spend time on an island:

If you want to spend a wonderful time with your partner visit an island in Norfolk. Heigham Holmes located on the famous Norfolk Broads is a nature reserve surrounded by water of the Thurne River and its streams. Spread over 500 acres it has meadows, woodland and marshland home to various species of birds and wildlife. Once in the year, the floating river bridge opens for visitors to explore the area’s natural beauty. This year it will open on August 05, 2018 so if you are in town at that time, it would be a delightful place to visit as a couple.
