New owners bring a clear vision to one of Norfolk’s most distinguished boutique properties, with a commitment to showcasing the region’s very best.

The Harper, a Michelin Key-awarded boutique hotel in Langham, North Norfolk, has been acquired by The Morgans Family. The change of ownership signals an exciting new chapter for one of the region’s most premier destinations.

The Harper is a luxury boutique hotel comprising 32 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a critically acclaimed fine dining restaurant and bar, a games room, and a spa. In 2024, the hotel was awarded a coveted Michelin Key, a global distinction recognising properties that deliver particularly outstanding stays, cementing its place among Norfolk’s premier hospitality destinations.

The Morgans Family brings a wealth of hospitality experience to the acquisition. The family’s philosophy centres on enhancing rather than reinventing, investing in quality, nurturing talented teams, and allowing each property to thrive with its own distinct personality.

Shon Morgans, Director, said: A truly exceptional hotel, and it is a privilege to become its custodians. A Michelin Key property of this calibre, in a setting as distinguished as the North Norfolk coast, warrants ownership with a clear and considered vision for its future. We want The Harper to belong to North Norfolk, a destination that gives people yet another reason to take pride in this remarkable corner of England. The landscapes, the community, and the dedication to food and hospitality here are quite extraordinary, and our focus is firmly on honouring and building upon all of that. We are confident this marks the beginning of a very promising new chapter.”
